The economic situation is presently unstable and many businesses are cutting back because of budget constraints. Often, the first to go are people with fewer technical skills, which many times translates to people with developmental disabilities. It is the plan of the Serving Cup to:

• Complement present programs within the community with a network of contacts, individuals or businesses, which understand the value of including individuals with developmental disabilities in their workforce. And, help those businesses understand what they might loose if those positions are eliminated.


• Create programs to be presented to businesses, which will help them envision unique and productive ways to include people with developmental disabilities in the work force.
